In deals expected to be announced Thursday, Goodmail Systems Inc. is expanding its CertifiedEmail program to Comcast Corp., Cox Communications Inc., Time Warner Cable Inc.'s Road Runner and Verizon Communications Inc.
Yahoo Inc. and Time Warner Inc.'s AOL became inaugural participants last year.
Basically, large ISPs sign on with this 'goodmail' company, who 'verify' emails sent from entities that pay them money, as being from whom they claim to be. Then, the ISPs deliver said spam direct to their customers.
Don't worry - JC isn't a large ISP. ;-)
